My client a nationwide builders merchants is looking for warehouse operatives to join their busy warehouse team and assist with the day to day operations of the warehouse.
The successful candidate should have experience working in a similar environment and have previously worked with a forklift (valid licence major plus!), possess the skills to assist their customers and provide good customer service as well as this they should be able to communicate clearly with both suppliers, customers and colleagues verbally, by email and by phone. You should have the ability to follow SOPs and ensure you are complying with all H&S regulations.
The role will include but is not limited to loading and unloading trucks, picking product for customers and onlineorders, stock taking, stock control and use of an ERP system as well as using a forklift within the warehouse and the yard in asafe manner.
This role is a full-time permanent position with working hours between 7:30am and 17:00 Monday - Saturday (closed on Sundays). Along with your salary you will be entitled to a staff discount of products sold by the company as well as a contributory pension scheme.
