Yard Operative - Forklift License Required
Location: Little Island, Cork
Salary: €632 per week (approx. €15.80/hour, €33k PA)
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday - NO WEEKENDS!
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather (protective gear provided).
Our exclusive client is currently seeking a motivated Yard Operative to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a validforklift license and manual handling training who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Job Summary:
As a Yard Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the loading and unloading of deliveries, picking and packing orders, and maintainingthe efficient operation of yard activities. You will work closely with your team leader and Yard Supervisor to ensure a smooth-running operation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Loading and unloading deliveries
* Picking and packing customer orders
* Assisting with stocktaking
* Forklift operation when required
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
* Adheringto HSE standards and safe working practices
* Flexibility to take on various duties as needed by the business
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have a valid forklift license and manual handling certification
* Be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
* Be a strong communicator with good initiative
* Thrive in a busy, demanding environment
