Join the market leader in the builder's merchanting industry inthe Republic of Ireland based in Rathcoole. My client, a reputable company, is currently seeking a dedicated General / Yard Operative to join their team.
As a General Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organisation and functionality of the yard and warehouse area. Your teamwork and dedication will ensure that customers receive a reliable and efficient service, delivered with a smile.
To excel in this role, previous experience as a General Operative is required, alongwith forklift experience and a strong customer service background. If you have worked in a busy builder's providers before or have stock management experience, even better!
Responsibilities will include receiving and checking deliveries, ensuringproper storage in accordance with health and safety guidelines. Keeping the warehouse tidy and ensuring clear stock identification is essential. You will also be responsible for picking, packing, and loading company vehicles, as well as actively safeguarding against theft.
As an effective team player, you will work closely with your colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth operations. Prioritising your workload, having excellent interpersonal skills, and attention to detail will contribute to your success in this role.
My client offers a permanent full-time position Mon-Fri 8-5 with a competitive starting salary of €30 000 and a range of benefits to support your well-being and growth.
