Get Recruited are currently supporting a leading supplier of pallet racking and shelving who, due to growth, areseeking a Business Development Manager to join their highly successful sales team.
As the Business Development Manager, youwill be responsible for managing a number of existing accounts whilst actively seeking out new business. This is a fantastic role for a motivated salesperson who has knowledge within the pallet racking / storage / mezzanine floors and is looking to join acompany who offer excellent career progression, quickly.
THE ROLE:
* As the Business Development Manager, you will be required to prospect new business opportunities for the business
* Managing your own diary and booking appointments out in the field
* Visiting customers on site, conducting site surveys and providing customer quotes for racking and other equipment
* Negotiating contracts with new and existing customers
* Manage a number of existing accounts, generating additional revenue
*Successfully manage your own pipeline to ensure you hit targets
* Completing administrative duties as required
THE PERSON:* At least 2 years' experience within a Business Development, Telesales Executive, Area Sales, Field Sales Regional Sales, Territory Sales role is essential
* Strong knowledge of the Pallet Racking / Storage industry is essential
* Proven track record of winning new business and growing existing accounts
* Full, clean UK driving license is essential
* The desire to progress into a management position
