About the Role:
As a Design Engineer/CAD Engineer/AutoCAD Technician, you will play a vital role within a collaborative team environment. Your primary responsibility willbe to create technical drawings that precisely adhere to customer specifications, ensuring seamless production by the manufacturing team. Key aspects of the role include:
* Utilising AutoCAD 2D to produce accurate and detailed drawings.
* Developingscheme drawings and layouts for evaluation against customer requirements.
* Generating manufacturing drawings with an emphasison cost-effectiveness and ease of production.
* Collaborating closely with colleagues across departments to ensure efficientproject execution.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a CAD Technician/Design Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and Autodesk Inventor (or similar software such as Solidworks).
* Demonstrated ability to create high-quality manufacturing drawings.
* Excellent communication skills, fostering effective collaboration with colleaguesand customers.
* Motivated, positive, and enthusiastic attitude towards work.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Docs, including spreadsheet management and Excel formulas.
