We are working exclusively with our client, based in the Bandon area, who are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Lead. You will be joining a long-established, award-winning industrial food manufacturer who supplies premium goods in to the retail industries in Ireland and UK. This is a growing company who saw a marked rise in orders during thepandemic and are "recession proof". This is a days only MONDAY - FRIDAY salaried position.
The Role
* Working with modern industrial automation and semi-automated production lines.
* Work effectively within the small engineering team to assist in the continuous improvement of service and processes and ensure best practice is consistently applied.
* Carrying out planned andreactive preventative maintenance.
* Respond to unforeseen breakdown within a defined timeframe.
* Experience of investigation techniques that focus on system causes, common cause & root cause
* Operate and maintain equipment and tools correctly whilst ensuring health and safety of self and others.
* Report writing and good documentation/administrative skills.
Who We Are Looking For
* You will have a recognised electrical qualification and a minimum of 10+ years proven experience in industrialmachine electrical control.
* You will possess good electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
* A working knowledge ofpneumatic control would be advantageous.
* Possess the ability to work on own initiative and as part of the engineering team.* Have a strong working knowledge of industrial control instrumentation.
* Applicants possessing a good working knowledge ofAlan Bradley PLC based automation control systems and IT networks will have a distinct advantage.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical and pneumatic design schematics and specifications.
* Experience in robotics would be advantageous.
* A clear working knowledge of MS Office 365 suite is essential.
* Knowledge of modern industrial food production equipment such as mixers, depositors, flow wrappers, label applicators, box erectors etc., will be a distinct advantage.
