Currently recruiting for an Electrician to join a manufacturing company based in Dublin
Role and Responsibilities:
* Well versed with troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance, with scheduling and planning of Preventative maintenance and personnel.
* Good understanding of lock out tag out procedures, operating procedures, safetyprocedures and safe work method statements.
* Reporting to the Maintenance manager, you will be responsible for maintenance (Electrical and basic mechanical) support of all site manufacturing activities ensuring uptime of process equipment is maximised to achieve highest possible production outputs.
Key functions of your role are:
* Focus on execution of planned maintenance as well as effective reactive / breakdown support.
* Troubleshooting of equipment failures and initiation of corrective actions.* Use of the Maintenance system, and updating corrective action reporting, and using TPM techniques.
* Problem solving of pneumatic and hydraulic issues as well as all mechanical based unplanned stoppages.
* Project based installation, commissioning, upgrades as well as shutdown activities.
Your existing skills as an experienced Electrician will include the ability to work closely with manufacturing operations.

Knowledge and experience of the following required:
* Ability to read schematic drawings.
* Fault finding in electrical control panels and plant.
* Knowledge of PLC's / VSD's / HMI.
* AC and DC motors and control circuits.
* Electrical installation and testing.
* Experience in PAT testing and Thermographic imaging is desirable but not essential - training will be given to the ideal candidate.
We are looking for qualified and experienced people who have good trouble shooting skills, Able to achieve production targets are willing to do what is required to keep the plant running at maximum efficiency.
