**Position Overview:**
As aField Service Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated team providing technical support for a diverse range of my client's equipment, including automated infusion systems, renal dialysis equipment, and surgical technology. Through a structured training program and hands-on experience, you will develop expertise in our medical device technology and play a vital role in supportingour customers throughout Ireland.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct technical repairs, both preventative and corrective, at customer sites and other locations.
- Participate in technical and user support training, locally and internationally, to ensure proficiency in my client's products and related equipment.
- Develop and maintain a high level of technical competency to work independently and confidently.
- Embrace emerging technologies and stay abreast of advancements in the medical device industry.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team and organisational objectives.
- Manage spare parts stock and perform record-keeping duties as required.
**Requirements:**
- Qualification in electronic/electrical/mechanical/bio-medical engineeringor similar technical discipline.
- Minimum of 2 year's experience in renal technical service and IT hardware maintenance and repair.
- Strong IT and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in clinical settings and interacting with healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with relevant EU directives for medical devices.
- Full clean driving license and flexibility to travelthroughout Ireland.
