Description:
My client, based in the Killarney/Macroom area requires a food Quality Technician.
This is a full time Quality Technician job. Hours are Monday - Thursday 6am-4pm (40 hour week with over time paid).
You will be joining an expanding, local company which manufactures/processes for the retail industry.
You will have a food science degree coupled with a minimum of 1 year food quality experience in a fast paced food factory (not restaurant/hotel) and exposure to BRC audits.
This is a hands on quality technician job where you will be carrying out quality inspections on goods in through to goods out.
You will be ensuring compliance and HACCP principles are met.
You will be completing daily records and assisting in internal audits.
