Description:
Our client, based a commutable distance from Millstreet, Macroom, Killarney and Kenmare is looking to recruit a junior Energy Engineer for their expanding business. This is a stand alone role and requires someone confident and experienced in providing customer support and off-site technical advice for building projects. Working with consulting engineers,architects, builder's, specifiers, local authorities and expert installers, the technical sales and in house engineering designteam ensure that they can deliver the most effective renewable technology solutions.
The ideal candidate should have a good working knowledge in mechanical / structural engineering or building surveying.
Familiar with DEAP 4 software and energy technical assessments for new and retrofit projects for the domestic market.
An understanding of TGD Part L 2021 and NSAI SR50 standards.
Do you have a RENEWABLES/SUSTAINABILITY qualification?
Do you have a BER qualification?
Do you have a car and full license?
You will be involved in project estimation and compliance of documentation, assist with grant applications and you will go out to site (approx once a month) to meet with plumbers and installers.
