Description:
A Laboratory Technician is required for well established food company based in Co Kildare.
This is an exciting and varied role involving in house laboratory testing of food and related products. Environmental monitoring will be an integral part of the rolecombined with monitoring onsite steam utilisation.
Role and repsonsibilities will include:
Msaintain full in house testing programme
Maintain environmental tests and records
Monitoring key functions of production equipment
Maintain quality assurance records
Maintain outsourced micro analysis programme
Key Skills:
Experience in monitoring laboratory consumables and stock management
Profecient in operation of laboratory testing equipment including gas chromotographyand mass spectrometry
Good working knowledge of quality systems/accrediitations including BRC
Working knowledge of food quality standards and environmental standards
Ability to maintain accurate effecient recording systems
Strong IT interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications and Experience:
Food / Science / Analytical degree or equivalent in arelated discipline
Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in a food / manufacturing / laboratory environment.
