Description:
Our client, based in Cork city requires a maintenance fitter for a full time permanent, days only, Monday - Fridaymaintenance job.
You will be joining a multinational company that is well established and innovative. You will be part of the three person maintenance team focused on ensuring that Plant and Equipment integrity is maintained to the highest possible standards thereby contributing to the optimal running of the plant from safety, productivity, cost and quality perspectives.
Duties:
* Ensures that the site operates within all necessary statutory and corporate safety requirements and all statutory testing is scheduled and completed as appropriate
* Ensures plant mechanical availability is maintained at the highest possible level, with minimal downtime.
* Responsible for ensuring that all works are carried out in compliance with relevant legislation, with correct permitting and insurances etc.
* Coordinates and completes all site preventative maintenance and plans accordinglywith Production Supervisor/Mgr
* Drives continuous improvement within Maintenance ie 5S, Standard Work. and TPM initiatives as part of company OE Policy.
* Actions items as necessary from Predictive Maintenance and Statutory testing reports.
* Optimal Management of Maintenance related MRO
