Our client, located inthe thriving heart of Cork, is seeking a Maintenance Planner to be a key part of their team. This is a fantastic opportunity towork in a dynamic and expanding environment. Our client's facility, known for its fast-paced operations, is a heavy engineeringprocessing facility where employees are encouraged to grow and succeed. With an average employee tenure of over 8 years, it's clear that the team is like family (without the weird uncle).
Key Details:
* Office-based role in North Cork.
* Stable working hours: Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Your Role: As a Maintenance Planner, you'll be at the heart of keepingoperations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
* Creating preventive maintenance plans and schedules.
*Serving as the primary link between maintenance and operations, ensuring seamless coordination.
* Understanding job requirements thoroughly to describe tasks, estimate labour hours, and identify necessary tools and resources for work orders.
* Coordinating planned downtimes effectively.
* Keeping our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) up to date with routines,schedules, and SOPs.
* Assisting in maintaining an optimal stock of spare parts and materials.
* Managing preventive maintenance checklists.
