I am delightedto be partnering with my client, a leading medical device company in recruiting an Engineering Technician to join their successful team in South Dublin.
Within this position you will be responsible maintain fully automated, high-volume, high speed assembly machines.

Responsibilities: (A Snapshot…)
* Identify and drive OEE and waste improvements.
* Provide direct support to the productionand maintenance teams to resolve daily issues and assist with troubleshooting.
* Work closely with the maintenance team to apply learnings from breakdowns and performance issues to improve the preventative maintenance practices.
* Be the subject matterexpert of the assigned machine group.
* Liaise with vendors, suppliers and local engineering shops.
* To become involved inanalysing customer complaints and internal quality issues, and assist in drawing up improvements and preventative actions to eliminate these defects being produced.
Requirements:
* QQI Level 6 or above in Mechanical / Electronics or similar or National Craft Certificate essential
* 5 Year + experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
* Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical or highly regulated industry advantageous
