My client, a leading multinational company based in the South West of Limerick, who design and manufacture innovative plastic packaging, are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team.
Reporting to the Lead Technician you will be responsible for maintaining the high-volume manufacturing equipment.
The position
* Permanent position
* Days only role - Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:* Ensure safe working environment and adhere to safety protocols.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot andimprove operations.
* Assist in validating new tooling and maintaining work areas.
* Conduct maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
* Set process parameters for product quality.
* Adhere to procedures and support Quality Management System.
* Drive TPM projects, support new tool development.
* Train team on processes and safety regulations.
* Promote a culture of preventative maintenance and best practices.
Qualifications:
* Training or experience in injection mouldingadvantageous.
* Strong pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems knowledge.
* Factory experience preferred.
* Willingness to travel globally.
* Analytical and proactive problem solver.
* Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
