An excellent design, development and manufacturing business set in a beautiful part of the countryside seeks to recruit an established Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join their team.
This fantastic opportunity will see the successful candidate collaborate with a truly inclusive leader to continue the business growth which has been seen over recent years and maximise on the opportunities this brings.
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager role:
* Lead all Manufacturing Engineering activities and processes
* Facilitate and guide thecapital and project equipment as well as tooling budgets.
* Manage the specifications and procurement of new or replacement injection mould tooling, manufacturing equipment and jigs and fixtures.
* Oversee the specification and procurement of new andreplacement injection mould tooling and other associated manufacturing equipment.
* Provide mentoring and coaching to developthe manufacturing Engineering team.
* Investigate and promote the adaptation of best practices and technical innovations within the medical devices field.
The Successful Manufacturing Engineering Manager:
* You will have a thorough knowledge of Injection mould tooling, it's specification, design and functionality.
* A strong people manager and communicator, you will flourish leading a small team with the opportunity to continue its growth and input into strategic direction.
* You will have a high level of Engineering qualification, HND or above and have demonstrable experience within a senior Manufacturing Engineering role which incorporate a significant proportion of this specification.
* The ideal candidate will have previously workedwithin a Medical device, Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry.
