We are recruiting for a Machine Operator with supporting Mechanical skills to carry out first-line maintenance.

THE ROLE:
You will carry out a dual role taking responsibility for your specific production machinery/area.; Approximately (80%) of the role, you will be responsible for the operation of production or packaging machinery ensuring the product is created as per the specific orders accurately and on time. Secondly you will also carry out general servicing, initial fault finding and light repairs on the machinery to ensure continuous operation and equipment availability.
THE CANDIDATE:
You must have relevant experience of operating manufacturing or process equipment.
Mechanical knowledge would preferably have come from within a dual Operation/Maintaining position, but mechanical skills may be adaptable from other areas (i.e vehicle repairs etc)
Successful candidates will work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. Rotates every 3 sets to nights / days. 12 hr shifts (6-6). Every 6 weeks you will have 16 day rest period.
