We are currently recruiting for a Operations Manager for our client a manufacturing business based in Co Westmeath. This is afull time, permanent role.
Reporting to the MD the Operations Manager will manage the entire operation process from order intake to final dispatch.
Duties will include:
* Liaise with team leaders and senior manager to provide a leadership role inproducing an efficient and seamless chain from concept to dispatch
* Manage and measure performance levels in keeping with our KPI's
* Managing the supply chain and dealing with non-conforming suppliers to resolution stage
* Negotiating prices and value adding deals to assist profitability and add value to the companies offering.
* Hiring staff and developing training andoperation plans to assist the MD in enhancing the customer experience through integrated marketing and innovative offerings.
*Understanding and developing internal management systems (IMS) to achieve maximum efficiency with ongoing training and development.
* Overseeing CRM / Sage to enable best customer experience and practice as well as customer segmentation and targeted offerings.
* Developing the existing IT systems to add further value and develop better work practices.
* Analysing reports from various departments along with quantities and qualitative assessments including financial reports.
The Person:
A high energy individual with a passion for delivering excellent results. An interest in people development and the ability to develop cross functional teams. A good listener who can absorb information from several quarters and deliver valued progression.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 year's experience in a fast-paced production / customer service environment.
* Third level degree /qualification in Engineering or an executive MBA from a recognised University.
* Excellent IT Skills eg. Microsoft packages (Spread sheets, pivot tables etc )
