An established, market leading manufacturing business in the Whittlesey area is recruiting for a Planning & Transport Coordinator to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.
You will focus on controlling the business's ability to build and supply orders to the client base on time and communicating these orders to relevant stakeholders internally.
The Planning & Transport Coordinator will be responsible for the following:
- Interrogate order information from client
- Establish Daily and weekly Production plans from Client order information.
- Effectively communicate the production / assembly plans withthe production supervisors.
- Regularly consult regarding stock status to ensure sufficient held for build requirements and escalate any potential risks.
The Successful Planning & Transport Coordinator:
- Either good experience within a Planning / Coordination role or a graduate with some basic experience will be considered for this post.
- Strong character, ready to chase the information that is required internally and ask for information that is not immediately apparent.
- Confidentuser of Microsoft Excel and willing happy to learn new software if not already exposed to working with SAP.
- Methodical approach and able to work to tight deadlines.
