Production Supervisor - South Limerick
We are currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor on behalf of our client a leading manufacturing company in South Limerick.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the production department, ensuring to consistently meet delivery schedules whilst maintaining a top levelof quality. You will also be responsible for the training of the Production Operators.

Responsibilities (A snapshot..)
* Managing the overall activities of theProduction department, including production, processing, machine maintenance, and tooling maintenance.
* Collaborating with the Management Team to strategize and schedule product changes for consistent alignment with product delivery schedules and inventory targets.
* Ensuring optimal utilization of materials, machines, auxiliary equipment, and the workforce.
* Leading troubleshooting efforts for production processes, machines, and auxiliary equipment to uphold quality standards and minimize downtime.* Overseeing the daily management of the production line and its operators to maximize production capacity and resource utilization.
* Enforcing strict adherence to Health and Safety procedures, prioritizing employee well-being.
* Driving achievement of manufacturing targets and championing continuous improvement initiatives.
* Facilitating open communication with variousdepartments to ensure operational efficiency and product quality.
* Maintaining unwavering compliance with all company, customer, and legal requirements.
* Providing valuable support and guidance to the Operator team to ensure efficient machinery operation and reduced downtime.
Requirements
* 2- 3 years' experience as a Production Supervisor in a high volume manufacturing environment.
* Plastic moulding experience would be desirable.
* Working knowledge of ISO and BRC standards would be desirable, however full training will be provided.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Experience in people management.
* Ability to consistently deliver business results, demonstrate ownership and accountability
