Work Wales is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our client as a Production Technician in Swansea.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- General assembly experience (mechanical & solder skills)
- The ability to read and perform basic math calculations easily and concentrate in a busy work environment
- Be detail-oriented in order to maintain a high level of quality, keep accurate accounts of time and production, keep production on schedule and maintain a safe working environment
- The ability to walk, sit and/or stand throughout an eight-hour day
- Must beable to consistently lift 50 lbs. from a floor or table position to chest high using a proper lifting technique
- Demonstrate good hand/eye coordination and good manual dexterity
Roles & Responsibilities:
Major Task is Producing Product- LEDUnderwater Lights & Accessories
- Inspection, cleaning and preparation of product
- Assembly of standard product
-Test of standard product
- Use of hand & power tools
- Operate various items of machinery
- Follow processes in accordance with production documents
- Assist in the preparation of test & production procedures
- Completion of production & test documentation
- Workplace housekeeping
- Receipt & storage of material
- Packaging & despatch offinished goods
- Any other reasonable duties
Hours: 40 per week
Shift: Monday to Friday 8am- 4.30pm
Salary: £8.72 per hour
