Description:
Our client, based in Longford, requires an assistant to the Technical manager. You will be joining and established, Irishowned multi site operation, where staff development and training is a priority. This role has come about due to the current person being promoted.
You will be assisting in the management of the day-to-day technical processes to ensure products are produced to the required standard, customer and legal requirements are met and to assist in the management of the technical departmentand associated staff where required.
Do you have a 3rd level qualification?
Do you have 1 year experience gained in the food industry in quality?
Your duties will include:
* Understanding of the regulatory, BRC, TFMS,MPQAS and other customer standards and the Food Safety Management System.
* Achieve an understanding of customer product specifications and ensuring these arecomplied with.
* To participate in the generation of new specifications - liasing with sales, commercial and production teams.
* To participate in the investigation, analyse and response to customer complaints as and when they arise, liasing with sales, commercial and production teams as required ensuring effective CAPA
* To understand and participate in the Audit ManagementProcess for customer, regulatory and accreditation audits.
* As a member of the site team contribute to continuous improvement projects.
