Description:
Our client, based in Monaghan, requires a Quality Manager. This is a new position that has been created, to bolster the current quality team due to new orders and increased business envisaged.
You will be joining an established, multinational, multisite, food production facility where promotional and cross company promotional prospects abound. There is a clear promotional path for this new position, and they are looking for someone who would be trained to step up into the Technical Manager spot within the next 18/24 months.
There are 150 people on site and the factory operates a Monday - Friday days and evenings productionrota. This role would require flexibility to ensure all shifts are covered by the quality manager, however the core hours for this job is 8-5.
Duties include:
* Day to day management of the Quality Team.
* Ensure that the site is continuously in a state of audit readiness.
* Support all Customer and Regulatory Audits/visits on site.
* Provide leadership direction to teamon problem-solving and process improvements,
* Work with Supervisors and Operating staff to establish and maintain procedures,standards, and systems.
* Investigating and improving any non conformance raised.
