Description:
Our client, based in Roscommon requires a Quality/Technical Manager for their food processing facility. You will be joining an established company and will have 3 staff member reporting in to you.
Do you have a 3rd level degree in food science, food technology?
Do you have 4 or more years of experience as a quality manager gained in a FOOD production facility?
Do you have a strong technical background and knowledge of Industry Food Standards?
Your duties will include:
* Lead the HACCP team and assist in the delivery of the HACCP and Food Safety Management Systems.
* Assist the Site Managers in understanding, delivering and maintaining the required standards within the business units.
* Support the Operations team on day-to-day activities, coach and trouble shoot activities for improvement.
* Liaise and provide support to the customer and suppliersas required. DAFM Management: Liaise and provide support to DAFM as required ensuring all documentation and sampling requirements for the Business unit are achieved.
* Lead site audits, customer visits, supplier visits, and visits from regulatory bodies.
