Get Recruited are supporting a reputable, market leading company who operatewithin the construction industry, who are based in Mildenhall. Due to growth, they are seeking a motivated Sales Estimator to join their busy sales department.
As the Sales Estimator, you will be working within a fast paced environment. You will be handling inbound enquiries, before producing quotations and coordinating subcontract packages.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, confident Sales Estimator to join a friendly company. This would suit someone who is seeking a varied role and iseager to progress their career.
THE ROLE OF THE SALES ESTIMATOR:
* Receive inbound enquiries and assess technical issues* Produce estimates from first principles
* Prepare subcontract enquiries and evaluate quotations
* Coordinate subcontract packages
* Liaise with contractors and architects
* Work on multiple tenders and budgets
* Attend tender handover meetings with contactors
* Complete ad hoc duties as required
THE PERSON:
* At least 1 years experience as a Sales Estimator/ Sales Administrator is essential
* Knowledge of the construction / window / engineering industry would be advantageous
* Experience of working within a busy department is highly desirable
* Swift and accurate data entry skills
* Ability to prioritise workloads
* Strong IT skills
* Friendly approach and strong communication skills
