Trainee Technical Sales executive
My client based on the outskirts of Llanelli are seeking a bright and enthusiastic sales person to in their busy manufacturing business. The company has been established for 45 years and is going form strength to strength.
This role is perfect for someone who is looking to kick start their career within sales, it is an amazing opportunity to be learn the business, you will be fully trained on all aspects of the business in order to develop into the sales team.
This is NOT a contact centre and NOT a cold calling role. You will be attending trade fairs, conferences and meetings withclients to sell the product.
This opportunity comes with full training and guidance within all departments of the business. Anamazing opportunity for someone who would like to develop within a business. The prospects of this role are endless. This rolewill have a lot of worldwide travelling involved so very exciting for someone who would like to see the world.
The role:
An exciting and challenging role where you will be trained and taught the business ways, it is a sales role and the main goal isto be working within the technical sales team supporting their worldwide distributors.
You will learn the roles within 3 departments, the reason for this is for you to become successful in the sales department you must know how the business works.
The role breakdown:
Order processing - Processing the orders for customers and distributors worldwide, organising transport andsending over acknowledgements. You will be taking payments and raising invoices.
Stores and assembly - You will spend a short amount of time in this department, your duties within the stores and deliveries department will be carrying out final assemblyof the products, packing products ready to be sold. You will be responsible for shipments, goods on and stock control in the warehouse.
Sales department - Within the sales department you will be answering emails and telephone calls and quoting prices(warm calls).
You will be liaising with couriers and customers on estimated delivery times. You will be chasing up and sendingout quotes. You will have the opportunity to travel worldwide to attend and assist in sales exhibitions, seminars and meetings with high end clientèle.
To be successful in this role:
You must be a go getter and have a 'can do attitude', you will be looking for a trainee opportunity where you are able to gain a sales role at the end of it. You will be a driver and have a passport. You will be professional and have the willingness to learn and adapt. Also, to work in a busy ever-changing environment busymanufacturing company. Attention to detail is key and you will be computer literate.
