Description:
We are currently recruiting for a senior Warehouse Assistant/ Supply Chain Operative tojoin a fast paced team in Tullamore, Co. Offaly
Role Purpose
This role is to assist within the warehouse to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse process and assist in general site tasks
Duties & Responsibilities
* Receive materialsand update the inventory management systems
* Store received materials as per company procedures ensuring stock rotation by expiry dates.
* Ensure that all stock handled is stored correctly, safely and accurately within the warehouse facility and carryout stock taking activities.
* The use of manual/motorised material handling equipment will be necessary and must be operatedin a safe manner.
* Completing Shipping Processes
* Completing Stock Control Activities (Cycle Counting etc.,)
* Liaise with internal and external parties regarding material and logistical issues
* Check skips to ensure waste has been disposed ofand arrange for emptying skips.
* Keep exterior of building clean and tidy
* Completing assigned Planned Maintenance work orders.
* Operating decon autoclave, disposal of waste - record keeping for EPA reporting.
* Checking first aid cabinets and keep them stocked, place order if needed
* Gowning and PPE (Daily checks)
* Any other duties, as required.
Requirements:* Must have good communications skills.
* Attention to detail is very important.
* Be able to work in a team environment.* Complete task on time and to a required standard.
* Be able to take instruction.
* Willingness to learn as this is a continuous improvement company.
* Work safely and follow procedures.
* Experience with SAP would be a distinct advantage as would experience working in a GMP environment
This is a full time role for 12 months.
