Responsibilities
* Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
* Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
* Maintain timekeeping and personnel records
* Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
* Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply withthe company's plans
* To report directly to the Production Manager daily.
* To make sure that the stores and dispatch areasalways adhere to our BRC standards.
* Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions
Requirements
* Proven experience as a supervisor or a relevant role
* Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions
* Basic computer skills to use our MIS system, on which full training will be given
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Outstanding organization and leadership skills
* Be able to work as part of a team while also having good leadership skills to fulfil this role
* A valid fork truck licence, experience in both reach and counterbalance trucks is an advantage but training can be given
* Valid Manual handling certificate
