Our client is a reputable nursing home dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. We are seeking a motivated Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team.
Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Assistant Director of Nursing to assist in managing and overseeing the nursing department in our nursing home. Youwill help maintain quality care, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote excellence.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department.
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary teamto develop and implement resident care plans.
* Provide guidance and support to nursing staff.
* Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance.
* Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
* Maintain accurate resident records.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
* Assist in recruitment and retention of nursing staff.
* Collaborate with other department heads.
Requirements:
* Actively registered with NMBI
* Experience in a supervisory role in a nursing home or long-term care facility.
* Strong knowledge of nursing best practices and regulations.
* Excellent leadership and communicationskills.
* Detail-oriented and organized.
* Proficient in using electronic medical records.
Preferred Qualifications:* You will have a third level Nursing qualifications, i.e. BSc in Nursing or equivalent (ideally RGN)
