BASIC GRADE MEDICAL PHYSICIST
We are currently working with a teaching hospital to recruit a Basic Grade Medical Physicist with previous hospital experience. The qualified candidate will have the opportunity to work either as a temp or contract employee in a full-time role.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Carry out QA programs relating to Diagnostic X-ray Imaging equipment, nuclear machine, and other relevant affairs of the department
* Investigate events involving any kind of medical exposure
* Contribute to dosimetry and evaluation of the dose delivered to the patient.
* Contribute to the development of clinical and technical protocols
* Report to theSenior/Chief Physicist
CORE REQUIREMENTS
* Must possess a degree in Physics/Medical Physics or its equivalent
* Should have at least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
* Show in-depth knowledge of QA testing and the workings of anX-ray Imaging machine.
* Mastery of dosimetry physics
