We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate CORU Registered Radiographer to join our flexible team.
Role Overview: As a CORU RegisteredRadiographer with HSE Hospitals, you will be an integral part of the Radiology Department. Your expertise in diagnostic imagingwill play a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary teamto ensure the highest standards of care are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and ultrasound examinations, with precision and care.
* Ensure patient safety andcomfort throughout the imaging process, maintaining a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and contribute to accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.* Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to strict protocols and safety standards.
* Participate in quality assuranceactivities and stay abreast of advancements in radiography technology and techniques.
* Provide guidance and support to juniorstaff and radiography students, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Qualifications:
* CORU registration as a Radiographer.
* Bachelor's degree in Radiography or a related field.
* Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
* Strong technical skills in various imaging modalities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
