A leading biotech client based inCounty Clare are looking for an experienced Calibration & Maintenance Asset Engineer to join their team.

Within this position you will be responsible for the scheduling and planning of preventative maintenance activities and calibrations of onsite equipment and instrumentation. Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a highly regulated environment and haveexpert knowledge of GMP Manufacturing operations and equipment.

Responsibilities (A snapshot…)

* Ensure documentation of maintenance activities to cGMP standards both in paper-based records and the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Maximo.
* Ensuring Equipment Lifecycle Procedures are adhered to when introducing equipment and retiring equipment from the plant.
* Improve maintenance workforce productivity and work quality by eliminating in advance any potential delays, defects and obstacles through proper planning and coordination of maintenance activities, spare parts, machine time, craft and labour needs, safety measures.
* Ensures that technical issues or roadblocks are anticipated and resolved as early, and as fast as possible.
* Liaise with Sitewide teams from Manufacturing and Quality Assurance in compiling a PPM & Calibration Scheduling Tracker for all equipment.
* Obtainblueprints, drawings, instructional manuals and special procedures and make any additional sketches, diagrams etc necessary toclarify the intent of the work order.
* Assist with the continuous development, planning and implementation of the internal and external PPM and Calibration schedule, ensuring adherence to it.
* Supports investigations & CAPAs towards successful, timely and compliant closure.
* Provide support with audit/inspection requirements to ensure department compliance/readiness.Requirements


* Qualified to Degree or National Craft Certificate (Senior Trades) in a relevant discipline.
* 5 -7 years minimum working in a highly regulated environment.
* Planning, execution and supervision of Maintenance & Calibration activities.
* An in-depth understanding of GMP Manufacturing operations and equipment.
* Practical experience in the calibration of process equipment is desirable
* Experience in cleanroom environments is desirable
* Previous experience in astart-up environment would be advantageous
* Must have experience using a CMMS (Preferably Maximo)
