Cleanroom Microbiologist- Perm Job
Iam privileged to be assisting this world leading healthcare company in Waterford city to recruit for a Cleanroom Microbiologistto be responsible for the micro/bioburden and environmental monitoring (EM) management programme on their manufacturing site .The main duties of the role include performing monthly environmental monitoring in accordance with cGMP principles, micro data analysis and reporting as well as supporting and leading GMP training activities in relation to bioburden. The QA microbiologistwill work a standard day shift pattern, Monday-Thursday, 9-5.30pm , early finish on Friday, ideal JOB for a QC microbiologist with a couple of years' experience of working in a microbiology lab to GMP standards.
Duties:
* Create and maintain all site procedures in relation to Micro/EM
* Understands and executes risk management practices in relation to EM
* Liaise with suppliers on their bioburden controls
* Acts as site lead for issues on bioburden
* Acts as chief auditee on all external audits in relation to EM and site contamination control strategy
* Contribute to the GMP training program and deliver training asappropriate
* Ensure the quality and production documentation is suitable in design for bioburden control
* Supports companyLean Manufacturing principles
Candidate:
* BSc Degree in Microbiology (or similar) discipline.
* 3+ years' experiencein a Microbiology role ( GMP Medical Device/Pharma)
* Knowledge and experience of ISO 13485 &/or Pharmaceutical EU GMP (Eudralex Volume 4)
