As part of their ongoing efforts to deliver world-class healthcare, they are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Clinical Specialist General Radiographer to join their team.Key Responsibilities:
* Perform a wide range of radiographic examinations, applying advanced knowledge and expertise to achieve precise and accurate diagnostic images.
* Serve as a clinical leader within the radiology department, providing guidanceand mentorship to junior radiographers.
* Collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to optimiseimaging protocols and enhance patient care.
* Participate in the development and implementation of quality assurance and quality control measures to maintain the highest standards of imaging excellence.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiography and contribute to the continuous improvement of imaging practices.
* Maintain a patient-centered approach, ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients throughout the imaging process.
* Assist in the evaluation and acquisitionof new radiographic equipment and technology.
* Foster a culture of learning and professional development within the radiology team.
Qualifications:
* Must be resident in Ireland to apply.
* Bachelor's degree in Radiography or a related field.
* CORU registration as a Radiographer.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Radiographer, with demonstrated clinical expertise.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
* Dedication to maintaining the highest standards of patient care, safety, and confidentiality.* Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in radiography.
* Leadership qualities and a desire to inspire and mentor junior radiographers.
