Psychiatry Consultant - Adult Mental Health Location: Ireland
Excellent opportunity for an experienced Psychiatry Consultant to work in Ireland :
The key Responsibilities of this post include :
Provide clinical leadership in adult mental health services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
Lead and mentor a team of healthcare professionals, including junior doctors, nurses, and allied health staff
Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance service delivery and improve patient outcomes
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and service development activities
Provide education and training to medical students, junior doctors, andother healthcare professionals
Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to promote mental health awareness and support
Qualifications:
Medical degree and Psychiatry specialization from a recognized institution Specialist Registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) as a Psychiatry Consultant or eligibility for registration
Fellowship or equivalentqualification in Psychiatry
Proven leadership and clinical expertise in adult mental health services
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care with a focus on patientsafety and satisfaction.

There is a generous renumeration package on offer for the successful candidateto include : Salary ranging from €217,325 - €261,051 commensurate with experience, with additional payment for overtime hours and on-call allowance
Continuing Professional Development or medical education up to payment of €12,000Annual funding up to €8,000 for research projects
30 days annual leave, and paid maternity and paternity leave
Relocation package value of €4,710 (cover flights, accommodation, IMC registration, relocation costs).
