Description:
My client, a leading research, development and manufacturing company needs a senior leader to look after compute and CaaS/Containers products for application hosting.
You will be ultimately responsible for the senior leadership is all aspects of the delivery of the design, deployment and operations of compute/CaaS products consumed by the business.
You mut have a minimum of 10 years proven track record of delivering projects in compute/host infrastructure engineering and deployment and at least 6 years in arole of running compute teams and running application hosting.
This a great time to join our client's company due to major ITinvestment and a substantial shift in operations.
Essential skills -
* Core knowledge of Azure and Kubernetes - Google Cloud/GCP and/or Edge Computing is a nice to have.
* Previous demonstratable excellent relationship building and communication skills
* Broad understanding of application hosting services including but not limited to Compute, Storage/Backup, Database, Networking
* Prior experience in successfully delivering enterprise programs across functional IT Teams
* Proven experience with developing leaders and staff to be a high functioning team
* Experience in working in Agile ways of working
* Experiencewith Linux, Windows and Unix Operating systems
