A university teaching hospital is looking for an experiencedGeriatrics Registrar to join their team of medical professionals. This is a contract position, starting in July 2023
The successful candidate will work with leading Consultants in Geriatric Medicine in the elderly medicine unit, which is a 22 bedded medical ward, consisting of three 6 bedded areas, and 4 single rooms, one of which is an isolation room. One of the 6 bedded wardsis an acute stroke unit Patients admitted with a stroke or developing a stroke in-house are admitted to the stroke unit. The successful candidate will have prior relevant experience in the field of geriatric medicine and be keen to build on their experience to date.
To be considered eligible for this post you must meet the following criteria :
1.Hold valid Irish Medical Council (IMC) Registration or be at the very last stage of the IMC Registration process
2. If applicable, hold a valid IETLS or OET Certificate.
3. Motivated to be available to start work in Ireland in July 2023
4. Have at least 5 years of postgrad experience.
