MCG Healthcare has been working with this client for several years, providing regular and ad hoc support to a busy, but well managed practice group in the Gosport area. With work available across several locations, there is ample opportunity to work on a regular or ad hoc basis.Having met the team and toured the locations, this is a welcoming and supportive environment to join. While patient outcomes are naturally top priority, the practice wants to ensure that any GP feel supported, that they can manage the workload and that as a locum, they would be welcome back into the team in the future.
Like most practices, they are currently operating a telephone triage and e consult system with slots available should a GP feel a patient needs to be seen safely face to face.Admin is a mix of self generated, and surgery generated (which is evenly spread across all GPs, salaried and locum). Visits arerate, but up to one. The practice uses Emisweb.
