FRS Recruitment are working with a number of hospitals across Ireland to recruit Doctors with experience of Haematology. The hospitals can also consider Medical Registrars with strong medical experience and an interest in working in the Haematology department.
The hospitals we are working with are accredited by RCPI and are University Teaching Hospitals with an excellent track record of supporting Doctors through FRCPath exams.
These roles will involve the the diagnosis and treatment of patients who have disorders of the blood and bone marrow. The haematology department is responsible for the diagnosis and management of a widerange of benign and malignant disorders of the red and white blood cells, platelets and the coagulation system in adults and children. Such diseases might include anaemia, neutropenia, ITP, MGUS, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (P.E) and blood cancers such as leukaemia, multiple myeloma, and lymphoma.

Doctors who may be considered for this role will need;
- IMC Registration
- 4+ years relevant acute hospital experience
- Minimum of 6 months experience in the haematology department of an acute hospital
- Meet hse english language competency requirements.
