Description:
An inclusive manufacturing business in the Corby area which have a UK wide presence but retain the friendly, family feel are recruiting for a Health and Safety Advisor to join them on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting Health and Safety role within a Manufacturing environment in which both more junior and senior skill sets could be accommodated with varying support from site management and the Group Health and Safety Manager.
The Health and Safety Advisor role:- Advise and assist in the implementation of overall site Health & Safety strategy.
- Provide operational support to several fast moving manufacturing sites around the Corby area.
- Liaise with and support departmental managers to ensure a safety first culture is adopted at all times.
- Proactively drive improvements identified through Health and Safety audits completed.
- Investigate any accidents and near misses occurring on site to a thorough preventative action conclusion.
- Completion of site and specific task risk assessments
- Compilation and analysis of site based Health and Safety performance metrics.
The successful Health and Safety Advisor:
- At least one years experience within a Manufacturing, Health andSafety role.
- Qualified to NEBOSH Certificate level or equivalent.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel thesmall distance between manufacturing sites regularly. (All Corby)
- You will be a strong communicator, IT literate and logical in your approach to solving problems.
