We are currently seeking an Interim Health & Safety Manager to join our team for a [duration] interim assignment. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining and enhancing our already robust safety culture within the food manufacturing environment.* Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
* Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
* Lead safety training and awareness programs to empower our team members to prioritize safety.
* Investigate incidents and accidents, compiling detailed reports and recommending preventative measures.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety practices into daily operations.
* Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
* NEBOSH certification(National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety) or equivalent.
* Proven experience in Health & Safety management within the food manufacturing sector.
* Strong knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
* Excellentcommunication and leadership skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to safety.
