Duties and responsibilities:
*Multidisciplinary Collaboration - The ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing care for older patients in an acute hospital setting.
* Geriatric Assessment - Carry out Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments to address the complex healthcare needs of older adults to prevent a range of health-related issues and enhance the overall quality of life for older individuals.
* Acute Medical Experience - Experience in managing acute medical conditions and emergencies commonly encountered in geriatric patients, such as falls, fractures, delirium, and infections.
* Compassion - Compassion and understanding for the unique needs and challenges faced by elderly patients.
* Clinical Proficiency - The successful candidate will be proficient in geriatric medicine, including the ability to assess and manage complex medical conditions commonly seen in older adults.
Requirements
* Experience - At least 5 year's experience in Geriatric Medicine
* Qualifications - Medical Degree and General or Specialist registration with the Irish Medical Council.
* Valid OET or IELTS Exam where required - Demonstrate English languageproficiency (IELTS overall band 7, not less than 6.5 in each domain, or OET Grade B Overall).
* Visa Status - We welcome applications from VISA-free candidates, including those from the EU, UK, Malaysia, South Africa, and individuals with Stamp 4 visas.However, if you require a work permit, our clients may be able to support.
* MRCP is an advantage.
