To be considered for these roles, the successful candidate will have to meet the following criteria :
* Irish Medical Council (IMC) Registration* Strong experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology
* Ability to work through English as evidenced by a valid IELTS or OET Certificate
* Strong motivation to work in Ireland
* Professional qualifications would be a distinct advantage.This post will be of interest to a doctor who has experience and skills which allow them to take up the following responsibilities:
* Participate in the day to day provision of routine and emergency medical care to a level appropriate to the grade, in the delivery suite, wards and out-patient clinics, for obstetric and gynaecology patients.
* Duties involve intrapartum care,emergency gynaecology as well as outpatient clinics in both obstetrics and gynaecology. Previous experience in intrapartum careand good communication skills are essential.
* Responsible for care and day-to-day clinical management of in-patients of theConsultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist for whom you are working.
* Attend out-patient clinics as required.
* Arrangingadmissions and preparing discharge summaries as appropriate.
* Ensure that records of patients in your care are accurate, upto date and legible.
