To be considered for these roles, the successful candidate will have to meet the following criteria :
* Irish Medical Council (IMC) Registration
* Strong experience in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology
* Ability to work in English asevidenced by a valid IELTS or OET Certificate
* Strong motivation to work in Ireland
* Professional qualifications would bea distinct advantage.
This post will be of interest to a doctor who has experience and skills which allow them to take up the following responsibilities:
* Participate in the day-to-day provision of routine and emergency medical care to a level appropriate to the grade, in the delivery suite, wards and out-patient clinics, for obstetric and gynaecology patients.
* Dutiesinvolve intrapartum care, emergency gynaecology as well as outpatient clinics in both obstetrics and gynaecology. Previous experience in intrapartum care and good communication skills are essential.
* Responsible for care and day-to-day clinical management of in-patients of the Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist for whom you are working.
* Attend outpatient clinics asrequired.
* Arranging admissions and preparing discharge summaries as appropriate.
* Ensure that records of patients in your care are accurate, up-to-date and legible.
