Process Engineer | County Clare
A prominent biopharmaceutical company in Shannon is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join their team.
Ideally, You Will Have:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a biopharmaceutical environment.
* Extensive knowledge of biopharmaceutical equipment and manufacturing processes.
* Proven experience in commissioning and qualification of process equipment and utilities.

* Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with the relevant business unit to support manufacturing needs within a highly regulated GMP environment for Advanced Therapeutic Medicinal Products (ATMPs).
* Capital Projects: Assist inthe design and review of capital projects, focusing on single-use biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
* Vendor Coordination: Manage vendor activities for commissioning, qualification, maintenance, calibration, and process enhancements.
* Technical Transfer: Support technical transfer initiatives, including the design and development of specifications for single-use equipment. Provide subject matter expert input for Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
* Engineering Standards: Help implement and develop engineering specifications and standards relevant to local and multi-site operations.
Requirements:* Degree qualification in a related Engineering or Science discipline.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Process Engineering role within the biopharmaceutical sector.
* Essential knowledge of cleanroom operations.
* Expertise in biopharmaceutical process operations, including media & buffer preparation, upstream & downstream processes (e.g., single-use bioreactors, centrifuges, UF/DF, TFF).
* Proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
* Experience in a start-up environmentis a plus.
* Familiarity with fill-finish operations is desirable.
