FRS is currently recruiting an exceptionally motivated Psychiatrics SHO for several leading hospitals across the west of Ireland.
The SHO is responsible for providing frontline and hands-oncare for a wide variety of patients within the department. The SHO is responsible for diagnosing and treating patients and ensuring that duties and functions are undertaken in a manner that prioritises the safety and wellbeing of patients. As a senior house officer, you would report to the Head of Psychiatry Department or Consultant in-charge / Registrar. On-call duties are required for SHOs which allow the individuals to take full responsibility and gain valuable experience in their speciality.
Taking on this position enables a highly motivated medical professional to develop new skills and to apply their extensive knowledge ina challenging but worthwhile and exciting environment.
Essential Requirements:
* IMC registration or in the process of registering with IMC
* Relevant qualifications
* Previous experience in Psychiatry
* Irish or UK experience desirable
* Excellent English skills (IELTS or OET)
