Description:
We are seeking a QESH (Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Management) Manager for a Mid-Kerry based Engineering client. As the QEHS Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with all quality, environmental, health and safety regulations.
This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in QEHS practices, who can lead initiatives to improve the process and maintain their high standards and certifications - ISO 9001, 14001 EN1090.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management
* Develop, implement and maintain the companys quality management system
* Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with standards
* Manage the customer complaints process ensuring the correct process, communication, documentation and close out of each case
* Identify and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Environmental Management
* Implement and maintain environmental management systems in line with relevant ISO standards
* Lead initiatives to reduce environmental impact and promote sustainability with the company.
Health & Safety Management
* Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures
* Conduct risk assessments and ensure that safety measures are in place and adhered to
* Investigate incidents and accidents, providing recommendations to prevent future occurrences
* Deliver health and safety training and awareness programmesto staff.
Regulatory Compliance
* Stay updated on relevant QEHS legislation and standards, ensuring the companys compliance
* Prepare and submit necessary reports and documentation to regulatory authorities.
Continuous Improvement
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement in QEHS practices across the organisation
* Lead and support projects aimed at enhancingquality, environmental, and safety performance
Qualifications and Experience
* A degree in Environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, Quality Management or a related field
* Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent
* Relevant previous experience in a QEHS role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
* In-dept knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 EN1090 standards
* Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficient in using QMS system, Microsoftoffice suite.
