Full-Time: Day Shifts
Staff Nurse required to create a safe and supportive environment for adults with mental health complications, including dementia.
Here you'll provide a consistently high standard of professional care so thatthose who are cared for can live as normally as possible where their individuality, independence and dignity are respected and upheld. Responsibilities will include from developing tailored care plans to providing medicine safely and delivering excellenceacross everything you do.
The Ideal Registered General Nurse (RGN) candidate will have:

* A Registered General Nurse/Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification.
Responsibilities for the Registered General Nurse (RGN) include:
* Assess residents health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload
* Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals health and well-being needs
* Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
* Develop your knowledge and skills as an RGN and those of others
* Promote best practice as a Registered Nurse
* Assist in maintaining and developing robust and compliant services
* Contribute to quality improvement
* Promote peoples equality, diversity and rights
* Work autonomously with minimum supervision
* Apply clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied scenarios.
* Contributeto the professional development of trained staff, encouraging the development of research-based practice, with a view to meetingPREPP requirements.
Skills Required for the Registered General Nurse (RGN):

* Understand care planning processes and have experience of writing care plans.
* Experience of working with residents with varioushealth needs.
* Excellent planning, communication and organisational skills.

* Ability to contribute to, monitor and implement changes that improve service delivery and outcomes for residents.

Requirements:
* Valid NMC Pin
* Clear DBS
* Authorised to work in the EEC
* A Registered General Nurse or MentalHealth Qualification.
* Good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices.
* Experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments.
* An understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
