Essential Criteria
* To be registered with NMBI (live register) in any division.
* Have at least 2 years post registration experience,relevant to the role of the Registered Nurse in the IBTS.
* Demonstrate experience in managing people.
* Evidence of recent(last 12 months) continuous professional development (CPD).
* Excellent written communication skills, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proven IT skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook) and experience of working with electronic Patient Management / Learning Management systems.
* Full car access.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Donor recruitment, selection and retention.
* Donor screening to ensure eligibility.
* Performance of donation venepuncture and taking blood samples as required.
* Management of the donor during and after the donation.
* Recognition and management of adverse events associated with donation.
* Timely, accurate reporting and documentation of all incidents and complaints.
* Provision oftraining to staff when required, including completion of relevant
documentation.
* Acting as CNM nominee when required.
