My client operates nurse-led collection clinics, managed by a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM). The role of the Registered Nurse (RN) on the Hybrid Clinic team is to work with the CNM to ensure an efficient, effective and safe collection process. When required, the RN will act as CNM to lead the team.
Essential Criteria
* To be registered with NMBI (live register) in any division.
* Haveat least 2 years post registration experience, relevant to the role of the Registered Nurse
* Demonstrate experience in managing people.
* Evidence of recent (last 12 months) continuous professional development (CPD).
* Excellent written communication skills, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proven IT skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook) and experience of working with electronic Patient Management / Learning Management systems.
* Full car access.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Donor recruitment, selection and retention.
* Donor screening to ensure eligibility.
* Performance of donation venepuncture and taking blood samples as required.
* Management of the donor during and after the donation.
* Recognition and management of adverse events associated with donation.
* Timely, accurate reporting and documentation of all incidentsand complaints.
* Provision of training to staff when required, including completion of relevant
documentation.
* Actingas CNM nominee when required.
Salary Range €40,077 - €52,512 Pro Rata per annum. Entry point is dependent uponrelevant experience.
